Final Fantasy 1 Pixel Remaster features 6 character classes: Warrior, Monk, Thief, Red Mage, White Mage, and Black Mage. At the start, you choose 4 to form your permanent party — this choice cannot be changed, so pick wisely. After defeating the first Fiend, all classes upgrade to stronger versions with expanded abilities.
