Introduction
The Vampire is the fifth boss in Final Fantasy 1 Pixel Remaster, found deep within the Cavern of Earth. This undead guardian protects the Star Ruby needed to progress through Giant's Cave and continue the quest to restore the Earth Crystal.

After the Battle
After defeating the Vampire, open the chest in his chamber to retrieve the Star Ruby. Take this to Giant's Cave where the Giant will clear the path in exchange for the ruby, allowing access to Sage's Cave.
