Djose Cloister of Trials

Djose Temple is your third Cloister of Trials. The puzzle here involves charging spheres with lightning, crossing an electric pit, and pushing multiple pedestals. It's one of the longer trials; make sure you grab the Destruction Sphere treasure (Magic Sphere) or you won't be able to get Anima later.

Step-by-Step Solution

1. Entry Chamber - Open the Door

The entrance to the Djose Cloister of Trials

Remove the two Djose Spheres from the recesses on either side of the entrance. Place them in the two recesses flanking the doorway ahead to open the front door.

2. Main Chamber - Yevon Symbol Room

The reset switch on the left side of the room

Enter the main chamber. There's a large Yevon symbol on the floor and a reset switch on the left wall—remember where that is.

3. Right Wall - Place the Spheres

The glyph on the wall on the right side of the room

Grab the two Djose Spheres from the back of the room.

Placing the Djose Sphere in the recess in the wall

Place them in the two empty wall slots on the right. Part of the Yevon symbol lights up.

4. Central Pedestal - Charge the Sphere

Pushing the pedestal across the room

Push the central pedestal under the glowing pillar on the ceiling. The sphere inside gets charged with lightning.

5. Glowing Sphere - Open the Back Door

Push the pedestal into the electric wall

Retrieve the now glowing Djose Sphere from the pedestal. Place it in the recess to the right of the back door to open the passage.

6. Electric Field - Load the Pedestal

Place the Djose Sphere into the pedestal

Take the two Djose Spheres out of the right wall recesses and put both into the pedestal. Push the pedestal forward into the electric field room. It falls into the pit below.

7. Jump Across the Pit

Jump across the pit

Step onto the pedestal in the pit, then jump across to the opposite side.

8. Far Side Pedestal - Light the Symbol

Push the pedestal backwards to light up a portion of the Yevon Symbol

Push the pedestal on the far side into the wall. Another portion of the Yevon symbol lights up on the floor below.

9. Reset and Relocate Spheres

4 out of 5 portions of the Yevon Symbol lit up

Head back and step on the reset switch. The pedestal returns to its starting position. Take the two Djose Spheres out of the pedestal and put them in the first room's recesses—the ones where the door spheres originally were.

10. Complete the Symbol - Elevator Activated

The fully lit up Symbol of Yevon

Move the glowing Djose Sphere from the right recess to the left one near the door. The entire Yevon symbol lights up. Step on the central platform and ride the elevator up.

11. Push All Pedestals

The stairwell that opens after pushing the pedestals

In the upper room, push all five pedestals into the walls. The stairway to the Chamber of the Fayth opens.

12. Hidden Treasure (Destruction Sphere)

Revealing the Destruction Sphere

Take the elevator back down. Touch the glowing glyph near the reset switch on the left wall; a hidden panel lifts and reveals the Destruction Sphere.

13. Collect the Magic Sphere

Inserting the Destruction Sphere into the pedestal that appears

Grab the Destruction Sphere and ride the elevator back up. Put it into the central pedestal. A wall breaks open—inside you'll find a chest with the Magic Sphere.
