Snow Cavern

B1

Go up the long staircase. At the top, head left and stay on the upper section for Chest 1 (300 Gil).

Head south following the pathway. At the first intersection, go right for Chest 2 (350 Gil). Continue down and right to the exit. Ignore the door at the bottom - you'll use it later as a shortcut out.

B2

Navigate through and wade into the water. Ghouls spawn frequently here; Esuna cures their Blindness. Go through the water, ignore the door, and head down the stairs.

B3

Go left and up, then loop around to grab Chest 3 (Antarctic Wind). Save this - it one-shots the Adamantoise boss.

Head back toward the stairs, then south into the water again. Undead swarm this area. Exit through the top.

B2 (Upper Section)

Head to the intersection, then down to the bottom right corner for Chest 4 (Battle Axe).

Go back to the intersection and head west for Chest 5 (Antidote). Continue west for Chest 6 (Mythril Mace) - monster chest guarded by Grenades. Kill them all at once or wait for a missed self-destruct.

Return to B3. Hug the right wall going down, then left to the end. Take the stairs down.

B5

Circle the outer edge. Top left corner has Chest 7 (Potion); just right of it is Chest 8 (Blizzard Tome). Teach this to someone if you don't have Blizzard yet.

Head south for Chest 9 (Potion), and just right is Chest 10 (Mythril Spear). Go north, skip the door, take the stairs.

B6

Head to the intersection and go west. Top left corner has Chest 11 (Mythril Shield). The nearby door is empty - skip it.

Go right and head south. In the bottom left corner, grab Chest 12 (Ancient Sword). Equip this - it inflicts Curse on the boss, tanking its Defense.

The Beaver Room

Go to the bottom right corner and enter the door. Talk to the Beaver at the top wall - Guy can speak Beaver. Ask about Goddess's Bell. He reveals a secret passage in the wall to the right.

Walk through the wall in the top right corner to reach the secret area.

B7 - Secret Passage

The path zigzags down. Far right at the bottom row is Chest 13 (Silver Cuirass). That's all 13 chests.

Heal up and save before the boss. The Adamantoise guards the Goddess's Bell.

Adamantoise

After the fight, grab the Goddess's Bell from the wall. Head up the stairs and through the door - this exits to B1 near the entrance.

Borghen

Heads up: Josef leaves after this fight. Pixel Remaster auto-unequips departing characters, but strip him now if you want to use his gear immediately.

Head north, then right. Borghen waits at the top of a staircase.

After the fight, Borghen triggers a boulder trap. Josef holds back the boulder while the party escapes, sacrificing himself. His last words are for his daughter Nellie.
